Why we built this
Every professional-services firm is sitting on an asset it never put on the balance sheet: years of institutional knowledge. Pricing judgment, negotiation history, the reasoning behind past decisions, the work product of everyone who ever worked there. In most firms that knowledge lives in people's heads and in files nobody reopens, and it walks out the door every time someone leaves.
We also watched regulated firms reach for cloud AI and hit a wall. Law firms, RIAs, and CPA firms operate under confidentiality and recordkeeping duties that consumer AI tools were never designed to respect. Putting client information into a shared model creates compliance friction at best and a genuine breach at worst. The firms that wanted the productivity could not accept the terms.
So we built Deepvine on a simple premise: a firm should own its intelligence rather than rent it. Deepvine deploys inside the client's own environment, connects to the systems they already use, backfills their history, and answers questions with source-backed citations — without their data ever leaving their control or training someone else's model. Ownership beats renting, especially when the thing being rented is built out of your own knowledge.
